Tell us your story:
Berkeley graduate with not much to do but cliches and job searches, so I chose the former. Took my common cam, given to me by a close friend right before I left, with me on my six week solo trip through Europe. I may have missed out on my first beyond inspiring photo opp by stupidly leaving it in my locker at the hostel, but I kept it close from then on hoping another perfect time and place would present itself. After three weeks of not-quite-good-enough moments, I found myself at the top of the Piazzele Michelangelo in Florence, Italy, watching the sun set behind an almost 360 view of the city below, drinking a beer and listening to a busker's surprisingly good rendition of Your Song by Elton John. It was the first time I had felt inspired to write in weeks, and as cliche as it all was, it was so very fitting. I lost myself in those little streets and found a small piece at the top of this hill. I was lucky enough to meet the perfect person to pass it on to in Venice just a few days later.
